RECOMMENDED TOOL KIT

Having the right tools makes any job easier, and in some cases there is no substitute for a specific tool.
For the cost of a typical service call, you can purchase the following basic tool kit good for the majority of repair jobs found in a coin laundry.

Snap-ring pliers: small set

Channel-lock pliers

Needle-nose pliers

10-inch Crescent wrench

Flashlight

Phillips head screwdriver: two sizes

Common screwdriver: three sizes

Nut-drivers or spin-tights in 1/4, 5/16 and 3/8 – these have a screwdriver handle with a socket on the end

Electrical tester: a good one will indicate when it is near a live or hot circuit which will keep you from getting shocked
